• Scaleable – the platform has been carefully optimised to best exploit the differing capabilities of the database, the web server, and the client machine (ie the user’s web-browser). This means that the bottlenecks encountered in other applications as the user base grows have been eliminated. Konetic’s largest client supports over 150,000 candidates and 100 recruiters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• Customisable – by separating the design of a generic framework from the specifics of business process, the Konetic™ platform enables the design, test, and release of new features and functions easily, cheaply, and rapidly. New multi-page application forms can be designed to a customer’s precise requirements in a couple of days rather than weeks, and functions supporting new business processes (a new type of interview, a new stage in the recruitment process, a new way of filtering and searching for applicants) can be ‘switched on’ almost instantaneously. All this without interrupting the existing users of the system even for a second.

• Standards oriented and easy to integrate – the Konetic™ platform is based around standard products (Microsoft .Net, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Microsoft IIS) and standard technologies (XML and SOAP). This combined with Konetic’s open architecture and state-based processing means that integration with third party products (such as Peoplesoft) is straightforward, for both sending and receiving data.

• Rapidly deployed – the Konetic™ platform has been ‘designed for manufacture’. This means that the process of moving bespoke customer requirements into a fully functioning system is straightforward. As important as speed of release is that the system supports the precise requirements of the users: it is for this reason that we do not provide a ‘one size fits all’ solution but rather one which adheres to the needs of the client.  

• Robust and available – the system is designed to run 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This is tested and proven by one of our clients who use Konetic™ Recruit in 7 time zones around the world. We provide all our clients with a business and technical help desk run as a professional customer focused service. This provides enormous direct support to demanding enterprise clients.

• Your Data – each Konetic client gets a dedicated application, database, and web server (or server farm where appropriate). Unlike the systems provided by other suppliers, you will have control over the functionality of the system, and more importantly, total ownership of the data that is captured over its life.
